Cancelling
You can cancel a full-report order at no cost at any time before we confirm the project with you and begin research. Just reply “cancel” to our confirmation email (or on the WhatsApp thread) or write to hello@pakkacheck.com. Payment is taken when you order, so a cancellation before research starts is refunded in full. Once research has begun, the order can no longer be cancelled, because the work — pulling filings from seven portals, most of them behind captchas, and reading them — is already being done for you.
The free red-flag scan has no charge and can be cancelled at any time.
When you get a full refund
- We cannot produce the report. For example, the project cannot be matched to a TG-RERA registration, or the records we rely on are unavailable for it. We tell you as soon as we know, and refund in full.
- We miss the outer delivery limit. If the full report is not delivered within 72 hours of confirmation (see Delivery), you are entitled to a full refund whether or not you still want the report — and if you do still want it, we finish it at no charge.
- You were charged twice, or charged the wrong amount. The duplicate or the difference is refunded as soon as you tell us, no questions asked.
When you get a corrected report — and a refund if you want one
If a finding in the report is factually wrong because of our error (we misread a record, matched the wrong builder, or missed a filing that was on the portal on the date of the report), tell us within 30 days of delivery. We check it against the source, issue a corrected report free of charge, and if the error was material to the verdict we also refund the full price. “Material” means it would have changed the green/amber/red verdict or a flag in the summary.
When we don't refund
- You disagree with the verdict. The verdict is an opinion formed from the public record, stated with its reasons and its sources. If you read the same records and reach a different view, that is legitimate — but it is not a defect in the report.
- The record itself was wrong or out of date at the source. Government portals lag and occasionally contain errors. A report is accurate as of the date printed on it and states what was checked and where. We will happily point you to the source so you can verify.
- You decided not to buy the flat — or bought it anyway. The report is the product; the decision is yours.
- The report was delivered and 30 days have passed without a correction request.
How a refund reaches you
Refunds go back to the same UPI ID, card or bank account you paid from, through Razorpay. We initiate the refund within 2 working days of agreeing it with you; Razorpay and your bank typically take a further 5–7 working days to show it in your account (cards can take up to 10). We send you the Razorpay refund reference so you can track it. We never ask for your card or bank details to process a refund — the payment gateway already has what it needs.
How to ask
Reply to the email (or WhatsApp thread) your report came from, or write to hello@pakkacheck.com with the project name and the date of the report. We reply within one working day. If you are not satisfied with how we handled it, see the escalation contact on the Contact page.
